Council is delivering a major new sport and recreation precinct at Bells Road in Clyde North to support the growing local community.
The $20.9 million project will provide modern sporting facilities, open space and recreation opportunities for local families, sporting clubs, schools and visitors.
Project details
Bells Road Active Open Space will be a multi-use sport and recreation reserve designed to support both organised sport and informal community use.
Construction is now underway and will be delivered in stages over several years, with the reserve expected to open in 2028.

- Two sporting fields supporting AFL, cricket and soccer/rugby.
- A sports pavilion to support players, clubs and visitors.
- Cricket practice nets.
- Two netball courts with multi-sport capability.
