Provide a planning framework to guide the orderly development of residential land.
The Cell 'N' Development Plan applies to an area in Narre Warren North and is intended to provide a framework for future development of the area. The area is bound by Narre Warren North Road to the west, Robinson Road to the north and east, property boundaries and two municipal reserves to the south, and part of Ernst Wanke Road to the south-west.
Council has reviewed and amended the Cell N Development Plan under Development Plan Overlay 2 of the Casey Planning Scheme. The Development Plan has been amended to change the minimum subdivision size from 2000sqm to 1000sqm for select areas of the Development Plan area. This affects the land at 2-10 Kostic Boulevard, 21-27 Robinson Road, and 31-35 Robinson Road, Narre Warren North. Any future development of the land must generally be in accordance with the Development Plan and Development Plan Guidelines.
At Council meeting on Thursday 8th November 2018, the amendments to the Development Plan were endorsed by Council. The Cell N Development Plan was open to submissions from December 2018-January 2019. Submissions have now closed.
