This Development Plan applies to the land at 64-70 Box Street, Doveton and is intended to provide a framework for the future development of the area in accordance with the Plans vision to create a high quality built environment.
Doveton Secondary College previously occupied this land from 1 January 1963 and until it closed on 28 November 2008. The land was identified during the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) Surplus Land Rezoning Project in August 2009 and was rezoned to Residential Growth Zone (RGZ) and the Development Plan Overlay was applied through Amendment GC05.
This document has been prepared in accordance with the requirement of Schedule 21 to the Development Plan Overlay of the Casey Planning Scheme which applies to the subject land. Any future development of the land must be generally in accordance with the Development Plan and Development Plan Guidelines
