Grants for the community

Council has a range of grants and assistance available to community groups, organisations and individuals. Funding to run a community program or event. Help running a community organisation. Improve or repair a community facility. Support individual achievements in sport, science and the arts.

This toolkit provides easy-to-use guides, templates and fact sheets to make grant writing more accessible for community volunteers and local groups.
Grants up to $500 available all year round to recognise individual achievements in sport, science, music and the arts.
Grants up to $1,500 available all year round (or until funds run out) provided quickly to help community groups with unexpected opportunities.
Grants between $100 and $1,500 available annually for equipment or training to improve day to day operations for Casey community groups.
Grants between $1,000 and $5,000 available annually to help community groups run projects, programs and events that benefit the Casey community.
Grants between $3,000 and $10,000 available every two to three years providing multi-year funding for arts groups, organisations and professional artists delivering projects across art forms to benefit the Casey community.
Grants up to $25,000 available every three years providing multi-year funding to assist with financial certainty and forward planning to support large events.
Grants between $5,000 and $40,000 available every three years providing multi-year funding to support the operation of community service organisations.
Multi-year funding support for CSOs to build sector capacity and meet changing community needs.
Helps community groups or clubs to provide social meals as part of their group activities.

Grants up to $50,000 per project or $75,000 in total (for a maximum of two projects with an organisation contribution) available annually for minor works to improve a community facility.
