Hampton Park Central is a Major Activity Centre in the City of Casey. It supports shops, jobs, housing, community services and transport. The Centre plays an important role in the social and economic growth of Hampton Park and the surrounding community.

The Hampton Park Central Development Plan (June 2026) sets out a clear vision for how the Centre will grow and change over time. It supports the existing Development Plan Overlay (DPO1) in the Casey Planning Scheme and provides more detailed, precinct‑level guidance.

What the Plan Covers

The plan provides direction for:

  • Land use and development
  • Building design and layout
  • Transport and movement networks
  • Infrastructure planning and delivery

It aims to create a well-connected, functional and high-quality activity centre.

How the Plan is Used

Landowners and developers are expected to align with the plan to deliver coordinated, practical and high-quality outcomes.

Council will use the Development Plan (June 2026), alongside the Casey Planning Scheme, to assess all future planning and development proposals.
