Things to do at Myuna Farm

Myuna Farm offers a unique space and invites everyone of all ages and abilities to enjoy a slice of Victorian agriculture through a hands-on experience. 

The handy Myuna Farm map to help you find your way to the following activities.

Animal nursery

Explore the animal nursery, where you can have a hands-on sensory experience patting and interacting with our baby animals such as lambs, kids (baby goats), calves, rabbits, and guinea pigs. In the dairy you will find our milking goats, be sure to check out are daily milking demonstration. 

Daily activities:

  • 3:15pm Goat milking demonstration in the Dairy 
  • 3:30pm Bottle feeding the baby animals in the Animal Nursery

Paddock feed trail

Head outside and walk along the paddock feed trail, where you can hand feed a wide range of Australian farm animals. Such as sheep, cows, kangaroos, and emus. Animal feed is given complimentary with admission. 

The feed trail is accessible to all including prams and wheelchairs. 

Rides

Tractor rides

The tractor ride is suitable for the whole family to enjoy. The tractor pulls several carriages, acting as a train. It follows along the paddock feed trail and heads down into the wetlands.
The tractor ride operates daily from 11am – 3pm.

Tickets are available for purchase at the front office, $3.50 per person (over the age of 1 years) per ride.

Pony rides

The pony rides are available to children at a cost of $3.50 per child.

The child can put on a helmet and enjoy a short lap on the saddled pony, led by a staff member. A parent or guardian can walk beside the staff member to support the child if needed.

A photo opportunity is available at the end of the lap. 

For the health and well-being of the ponies, there are maximum heights for riders. Height restrictions change daily as the operating pony changes each day, please speak to office staff on the day to confirm height restrictions.

Pony rides operate from 11am – 3pm. *Pony rides do not operate on public holidays or in temperatures exceeding 33 degrees Celsius.

BBQ’s, Picnic Areas, and Playground

Free to use gas BBQs and picnic areas are spread across the farm. We encourage you to bring in your food and cooking utensils and enjoy a BBQ for lunch with the whole family. Children can explore the playground after lunch. 

Cafe

The Myuna Farm Cafe provides a wide range of food, hot and cold drinks and ice creams.

Toilets

Toilet facilities include male, female, and disabled toilets, as well as a baby change room.
