Morning Mist is a beautiful piece of remnant grassy woodland with more than 50 plant species. The nature reserve is dominated by eucalypt trees with a dense understory of grasses and sedges. The vegetation provides shelter for the Southern Brown Bandicoot (Isoodon obesulus obesulus). You may even spot a glider or a Swamp Wallaby (Wallabia bicolor) in the scrub as you stroll around the walking loop.
