Old Cheese Factory

The majestic Old Cheese Factory, featuring the 1860s historic Springfield Homestead, Cheese Factory and Kitchen Wash House, stands as a tall reminder of Australia’s early history.

Short-term café expressions of interest

The City of Casey is seeking expressions of interest from qualified and experienced café operators to run a short-term café at the Old Cheese Factory (OCF) throughout Summer in 2021 and 2022.

The Café offers an opportunity for a hospitality provider to operate a fully independent café located in a premium site, which can build on Council’s previous operation and gain additional benefits from integration with the adjoining OCF offerings.

The Old Cheese Factory is a historic and iconic attraction in Casey, boating 25 acres and a unique range of services, venues and grounds for hire.

The new Café will also reap benefits from several events that are scheduled to be held at the OCF over the coming months.

For further information, please download the Expression of Interest form or contact Sharon Fitchett on 03 9705 5200 or sfitchett@casey.vic.gov.au
