What is regular hire?

Regular hire is for community groups, organisations, businesses and service providers that want to book a facility on an ongoing basis to run programs and services that benefit the community. This can be across one or more of our sites. You can explore available facilities and room options under view our spaces below.

It may suit recurring activities such as programs, classes, meetings, appointments, training sessions or community events that need consistent access to a suitable space.

If regular hire is suitable for your needs, you can apply through the annual Expression of Interest process.

Before you apply

Council documents may change from time to time. Please use the links below to make sure you are viewing the current version before submitting your Expression of Interest.

Expression of Interest process

Regular hire bookings are considered each calendar year through an EOI process. Please note that submitting an Expression of Interest does not guarantee a booking.

Council’s Priority of Access Policy helps make fair and consistent decisions when demand for facilities is greater than available space. It gives priority to activities that provide community benefit, support participation, and align with Council priorities.

  • EOI opens: 28 September 2026
  • EOI closes: 11 October 2026
  • Outcomes advised by: 23 October 2026

To apply, email facilitybookings@casey.vic.gov.au during the EOI period and include your preferred facility.

After the EOI period closes, Council will review all requests. Where demand exceeds available space, requests will be prioritised in line with the Policy, while also considering venue suitability, capacity and availability across the facility network.

Applicants will be advised of the outcome no later than 23 October 2026. Successful applicants will receive information about how to confirm their booking.

Hiring outside the EOI period

You can still request to hire a Council facility outside the EOI period. These requests will be considered if an appropriate space and time is available. To discuss availability or submit a request, contact the Facility Bookings team at facilitybookings@casey.vic.gov.au.
