Part-funded by Sport and Recreation Victoria, the track is the first of its kind in Victoria and provides a fast-paced, actioned-packed training, competition and recreation cycling facility.

The facility is available to the general public when it is not in use by an allocated club. The criterium track is allocated to the Bicycle Association of South East (Melbourne) - BASE and the Casey Cardinia HPV and Cycling Club.

General public notice: The Criterium Track is a cycling track only. Dog walkers and walkers are NOT permitted to use this facility.

Terms and Conditions of Use

It is a term and condition of use of this facility that the City of Casey and its servants and agents accept no liability, of whatever description, for any losses, injuries or death which may occur on this facility, however caused.

Individuals and groups using this facility accept that the conduct of any intended authorised activities is inherently dangerous and there is some danger and/or risk associated with the carrying out of these types of activities within this Criterium Facility.

In the event of an emergency, riders and spectators should contact the appropriate emergency service eg: Ambulance, Fire Brigade and Police by telephoning 000.

If riders and/or spectators observe any situation that they believe may require the closure of all or part of the track please telephone the City of Casey Customer Service Centre on 03 9705 5200. This number can be contacted 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

During club allocations and bookings of school and casual hire, the Criterium facility is not to be accessed by members of the general public.

Riders must ensure the use and/or wearing of appropriate safety equipment, such as helmets.

Riders must ensure that any bicycles and/or Human Powered Vehicles taken to this facility are in safe working order, such as brakes, handlebars, seat etc.

Motorised vehicles including cars and motorbikes are NOT permitted to use this facility (excluding emergency and maintenance vehicles). Offenders will be prosecuted under Local Law No.2 (3.23 and 3.5). Unauthorised vehicles may be impounded by an authorised officer under Local Law No.2 (4.7).

The City of Casey reserves the right to withdraw the use of this Criterium facility at any time.
