Schools on Stage 2023
The 11th Annual Schools on Stage will be held on Thursday 14 September 2023 at Bunjil Place Theatre, hosted by Jude York and Jael Wena.
Local secondary colleges will be selected to perform two songs from their school musical in an eisteddfod style event. Students will benefit from the chance to gain additional performance experience, as well as meeting like-minded peers from other schools and be recognised for their talent and effort.
This year we have nine schools competing in the Premier Division:

- Cranbourne East Secondary College – Shrek the Musical
- Cranbourne West Secondary College – Moana Jr
- CREST Education - Hairspray
- Fountain Gate Secondary College – Aladdin Jr
- Kambrya College – Matilda the Musical Jr
- Maranatha Christian School – 42nd Street
- Nossal High School – Legally Blonde Jr
- St Francis Xavier College – The Wizard of Oz

Casey Creations Creative Arts Competition 2023
Casey Creations is a creative arts competition for young people in Grade 5 – Year 12 who live, work or study within the City of Casey. This annual competition is an exciting opportunity to celebrate the talent of students and to showcase their ability to the broader community.
The competition is split into three categories:
- Visual Arts
- Photography
- Young People with Disability – Photography & Visual Arts
There is no theme for the competition, so young people are encouraged to be creative! Age categories for the competition are:
- Junior - Grades 5 and 6 (or age equivalent)
- Intermediate - Years 7 to 9 (or age equivalent)
- Senior - Years 10 to 12 (or age equivalent)
Entries close Friday 13 October at 5pm.

Entry is FREE! Complete an online entry form for each piece of work here (maximum of two entries per person) . Terms and conditions of entry apply and can be found on the online entry form.
Fresh Words Young Writers Competition 2023
The Fresh Words Young Writers Competition has now closed. Entrants will be contacted with results in June and the award winners will be posted on the Casey Youth Services Facebook.

FReeZA Committee – IGN!TE Entertainment
IGN!TE Entertainment provides opportunities for young people (12 – 25 years) to assist with the planning, organisation, and delivery of Casey’s FReeZA events for other young people living within the City of Casey to enjoy. All events are drug, alcohol and smoke-free in supervised and safe venues.
