MCH visit 5 (4 months)

All family members are welcome at your maternal and child health (MCH) appointments. Please remember to bring your green book and nappy bag.

Note: Video recording and photography are not allowed at MCH appointments.

What to expect at the 4-month visit

  • A physical check of your baby, including health, weight, growth and development.
  • Discuss the PEDS-R questionnaire.
  • Feeding and starting solid foods
  • Safe sleeping recommendations, sleep area and 4- and 6-month immunisations.
  • Talk about how you and your family are feeling, and where to find support if needed.
  • Book your sixth visit (8 months) at one of our MCH centres.
