MCH visit 10 (3.5 years)

All family members are welcome at your maternal and child health (MCH) appointments. Please remember to bring your green book and nappy bag.

Note: Video recording and photography are not allowed at MCH appointments.

What to expect at the 3.5-year visit

  • A physical and developmental check (including PEDS-R and a vision check using the Melbourne Initial Screening Test - MIST).
  • Discuss 4-year-old kindergarten and enrolment.
  • Getting ready for school.
  • Upcoming 4-year-old immunisation.
  • Toilet training
  • Moving from a cot to a bed.
  • Talk about how you and your family are feeling, and where to find support if you need it.
