Orientation sessions are an important part of a child’s transition into kindergarten. These sessions will help your child become familiar with the kindergarten environment and feel secure as they get to know the other children and educators. It will also give you the opportunity to meet your child’s educators and other kindergarten parents.
When do orientation sessions happen?
In November, the year before your child starts, you’ll get an email with a link to book your child’s orientation session with you and your child at the beginning of the kindergarten year.
If you accept a kindergarten place after the year has begun, kindergarten educators will contact you to tailor an orientation session to your child’s needs.
