Environment and Sustainability Community Reference Group

As part of Council's Community Engagement Policy, the Environment and Sustainability Community Reference Group (ESCRG) was established. ESCRG supports Council by offering a community perspective on various environmental and sustainable projects and initiatives. 

Members of ESCRG are given the opportunity to provide a local voice and perspective when Council are developing strategies, plans and projects. The objectives of the group are to:

  • Identify and make recommendations on environmental and sustainability issues affecting Casey residents.
  • Encourage and support activities and events that promote environmental and sustainability outcomes.
  • Enable greater participation in decision-making through community engagement and consultation.
