Roads that Council looks after

What Council looks after

We maintain over 1,800km of local and unsealed roads across the municipality. We are responsible for everything related to these roads, including:

  • road maintenance
  • keeping roads clean
  • road signs
  • line markings
  • footpaths
  • pedestrian crossings

Use our Public Roads Register to see a lists all public roads and their class. In this register the Area column specifies the suburb the road is located in and the Maintained By column indicates if the road is maintained by the City of Casey (labelled as Roads) or by VicRoads (labelled as VicRoads).
