Council is seeking funding investment from State and Federal Governments to create a safer, more connected, and sustainable transport network that fosters liveability, productivity, and future growth across Casey.
As one of Victoria’s fastest-growing municipalities, Casey is experiencing increasing pressure on its roads, public transport, and walking and cycling networks. Without ongoing investment, these pressures will continue to affect residents' access to jobs, education, services, and economic opportunities, as well as local businesses'.
Our transport advocacy priorities focus on projects that provide the greatest benefit for our community. These priorities are based on population growth forecasts, transport and crash data, travel patterns, and community feedback. They also align with Council’s long-term strategic direction, including the Integrated Transport Strategy.
