Transfer accommodation registration

Transfer checklist

Before taking over and transferring an existing accommodation business registration, you should:

To apply please complete and return the Transfer of Registration of Prescribed Accommodation Application form

Both the existing and new proprietor's signatures are required.

You can email the completed application to caseycc@casey.vic.gov.au or drop it off at one of our Customer Service locations.

We will inspect the accommodation business.
If the inspection is satisfactory, we will complete the registration within 5 working days.
If you plan on operating a rooming house, you must also apply for a licence from Consumer Affairs Victoria.
