Casey Club Accreditation Program

Casey Club Accreditation Program

Local sports clubs are at the heart of our communities, bringing people together and creating opportunities for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to participate.

The Casey Club Accreditation Program has been developed to support clubs of all sizes, and helps clubs strengthen their operations, leadership and inclusion, while recognising the great work they already do. The program is designed to support clubs on their journey and encourage continuous improvement over time.

The program focuses on three key areas:

  • Good Governance – helping clubs be well-run, organised, and accountable.
  • Financial Sustainability – helping clubs manage their finances and plan for the future.
  • Inclusion and Community Engagement – helping clubs create welcoming environments and connect with their community. Clubs can choose the inclusion streams that best suit their members and goals.

Community Engagement and Inclusion Streams

We recognise that every club is different and supports different groups in the community. Clubs can choose the inclusion streams that are most relevant to their members and community.

Women and Girls in Leadership

Women and Girls in Leadership is assessed through a points-based system. Clubs earn points based on women and girls holding leadership roles within the club, with point targets increasing across Bronze, Silver, and Gold accreditation levels.
