Casey Club Accreditation Program

Local sports clubs are the heartbeat of our community, providing people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities with opportunities to be active, connected, and engaged.

However, clubs today face increasing demands in governance, financial sustainability, and inclusivity.

The Club Accreditation Program has been designed to support all clubs—regardless of size, structure, or sport—so they can strengthen their operations and continue to thrive.

This program is about empowering clubs by providing a structured yet flexible framework to help them build strong foundations. It focuses on three key areas:

  • Good governance: ensuring clubs are well-managed, financially secure, and aligned with Council policies.

  • Financial sustainability: helping clubs build long-term resilience and plan for the future.

  • Inclusion & community engagement: supporting clubs to be welcoming to all, particularly underrepresented groups.
