Accredited sports clubs

The Casey Club Accreditation Program recognises clubs that are committed to being safe, inclusive, and well-run. It provides a clear pathway for clubs to strengthen their governance, operations, and club culture.

Clubs progress through three accreditation levels - Bronze, Silver and Gold. To move to the next level, clubs must first meet the requirements of the previous level and can only progress one level every six months.

As part of the program, clubs nominate an inclusion stream to highlight the work they are doing to engage and support specific members of their community. Clubs are also encouraged to build diverse and sustainable leadership pathways, including increasing opportunities for women in leadership and committee roles.

Accreditation criteria cover key areas such as governance, financial management, child safety, inclusion, leadership and club culture. Accreditation is valid for two years, with clubs required to reapply to maintain their accreditation status and demonstrate ongoing improvement.
