The City of Casey Public Toilet Framework (the Framework), prepared in collaboration with LatStudios, provides Council with a comprehensive approach to the planning, design, and management of public toilets across the municipality.
Recognising public toilets as important infrastructure for public health, accessibility, and the usability of public spaces, the Framework ensures a coordinated and strategic approach to future provision.
It is underpinned by detailed background research, including analysis of Casey’s policy context
and existing public toilet network.
This analysis informed a set of overarching Design Principles and Guidelines which gives direction for the placement and design of new facilities.
