Join the City of Casey’s Emergency Management Team on Wednesday 24 June, at the Lynbrook Community Centre, to better understand the emergencies that can impact our community, and learn practical tips to stay informed and prepared.
The session will cover:
- Local emergency risks and historical impacts in the City of Casey.
- How to access emergency warnings and information, including options for people with different communication and accessibility needs.
- An introduction to emergency planning tools, with a focus on supporting people with disability or additional needs.
City of Casey Mayor Cr Stefan Koomen said, “By coming together as a community and learning how to prepare, we can all play a part in making our neighbourhood safer and more resilient.
The session is interactive, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and have a conversation.
