The City of Casey is making it easier for residents to access important information about Council decisions and local issues with a new interactive tool showing mobile connectivity added to its Open Data Exchange platform.

The 4G and 5G Signal Mapping tool gives residents a detailed look at mobile connectivity in the region. The map shows mobile signal strength across Casey and can help the community better understand coverage in their area, while also supporting Council’s advocacy efforts for improved connectivity.

“These enhancements are part of our ongoing efforts to make information accessible and easy to understand,” said City of Casey Mayor Cr Stefan Koomen. “By providing practical, visual insights, we are empowering residents to explore, learn, and make informed decisions.”

This latest upgrade follows the launch last year of the Councillor Transparency Insights tool, which provides a clear view of council decision-making, including how councillors vote on key matters in Council meetings.

Both tools are available now via the City of Casey’s Open Data Exchange: data.casey.vic.gov.au/pages/casey-insights
