Community members are invited to experience top-quality football when Casey Fields hosts a blockbuster double header on Saturday 9 May, showcasing elite men’s and women’s talent across the day.

The action kicks off at 10:00 am with the Casey Demons taking on Carlton in a highintensity clash. The Casey Demons will head into their clash with Carlton full of confidence, fresh off a strong home performance against Richmond in Round 5 and looking to build momentum in front of a local crowd.

In the afternoon, the spotlight turns to women’s football, with spectators treated to a Division One match between Casey Thunder and Bentleigh at 2:30 pm.  Since its establishment in 2019, Casey Thunder has emerged as a powerhouse, winning the Division One premiership in 2023. The club proudly champions inclusivity, offering a welcoming environment for women of every skill level and background.

City of Casey Mayor Cr Stefan Koomen said, “Events like this double header showcase the strength of our local clubs and give the community the chance to enjoy elite sport right on their doorstep. Bring along your family and friends and enjoy a full day of football action.”

Admission to the Casey Demons game is $10, while entry to the Casey Thunder match is free.
