Community Safety Month

Community Safety Month

Council is committed to creating a safe community where all residents have access to equal opportunities and resources.

To gain a better understanding of how we can support residents feel safe we conducted a Perceptions of Safety Community survey earlier this year.

The survey told us that Casey residents want to connect more with the community and share safety-related information.

So throughout Community Safety Month in October, we are hosting a range of free community events in partnership with VicPol and Neighbourhood Watch, to help residents connect and share information about community safety.

With lots of free events for the whole family, check out what’s on below:

Residents are invited to a free Community Safety Family Day event at the Casey Safety Village! Neighbourhood Watch and Emergency Services staff will be there to meet residents and kids will get the chance to explore fire trucks and police cars.
