The City of Casey has been recognised as Victoria’s most improved council in the 2026 Snap Send Solve Community Satisfaction Index. Casey's score increased from 56.8 in 2025 to 59.6 in 2026, representing a 4.9 per cent improvement, placing Casey at the top of the state's most improved councils list.

The index rankings draw on more than 250,000 real-time ratings over the past year measuring user’s satisfaction with councils’ responses to their reports, as well as over 17,000 dedicated survey responses collected in May and June this year.

Between 1 July 2025 and 30 June 2026, City of Casey received 50,035 requests via Snap Send Solve. Of those requests the top five high volume requests are dumped rubbish, graffiti, overgrown vegetation, illegal parking, and abandoned vehicles.

Deputy Mayor Cr Michelle Crowther said Snap Send Solve has become an important reporting channel for Casey residents, enabling them to quickly report issues in their neighbourhood using their smartphone.

"We're proud to be recognised as Victoria's most improved council in the Snap Send Solve Community Satisfaction Index,” she said.

“This result demonstrates the work we've done to make it easier for residents to report issues. The detailed information and photos which residents attach to their report helps us quickly assess and prioritise requests, better understand the severity of an issue, and direct it to the appropriate team for action.”

Cr Crowther said over the next 12 months, Council will continue to focus on making improvements based on our customers feedback to continuously improve their experience when they report an issue.

“Community feedback indicates that residents would like to receive after-photos when their graffiti reports are marked as resolved, providing greater visibility of the outcomes delivered,” she said.

“We welcome the opportunity to explore this enhancement as part of our ongoing commitment to innovation, transparency and responsive service delivery.”
