Asset Protection Permit

Use this form if you're planning to undertake building, demolition, or major construction works in the City of Casey. The purpose of this form is to safeguard public infrastructure, such as footpaths, nature strips, kerbs, roads, and drains, from being damaged by heavy machinery, delivery trucks, or excavation during your work.

Ensure, both the permit applicant and property owner have read and understood our Terms and Conditions before applying for an Asset Protection Permit.

There are 2 payments required with your application.

  1. A non refundable permit fee of $364 plus GST
    Covers the cost of pre- and post-construction inspections.
  2. A security bond of a minimum $1,500
    The bond will be returned within 28 working days if the final inspection of completed work reveals no damage to Council assets.
