You must renew your pet's registration by 10 April every year.
We will send you a reminder 3-4 weeks before this date via email or post. If your details have changed, please update your contact details online.
The cost to renew a pet's registration is the same as registering a pet for the first time.
Change of circumstances
If your circumstances have changed since you last renewed, you may need to pay a different fee.
Common reasons your circumstances have changed include:
- you have had your pet desexed
- you have registered your pet with an eligible organisation
- you have become eligible for a pensioner discount
Please contact Council if you believe your renewal fee may have changed.
