In exercising its powers prescribed in Section 10A of the Domestic Animals Act 1994, Council has made an Order on 4 September 2007 which imposes a condition on the registration of cats in the municipal district of the City of Casey.
Council will not, after 1 October 2007, register or renew the registration of a cat unless the cat is desexed or is exempted under the Domestic Animals Act 1994 from any requirement to be desexed.
