Proposed changes to Casey Planning Scheme
Amendment VC155 comprises two changes to the Victorian Planning Provisions. It introduces a new strategy regarding restoration or reconstruction of a heritage building in a Heritage Overlay that has been unlawfully or unintentionally demolished. Further, the amendment clarifies requirements regarding protection of rooftop solar panels on lots adjoining new development.
Amendment VC155 has implemented additional policy support which will now assist with conserving buildings, areas or other places of aesthetic, architectural or historical value within the municipality.
The Minister for Planning has approved Planning Scheme Amendment VC155 to the Casey Planning Scheme.
The amendment came into operation when it was published in the Government Gazette on 26 October 2018.
