Ray Bastin skate park closed for revamp

The City of Casey is set to improve and extend the skate park at Ray Bastin Reserve in Narre Warren, with works ready to roll from next week.

While the construction works are underway, the existing skate park facility will be closed from Monday 3 June to 30 June 2019, after which the new and improved skate park will be back in action.

Local residents and skate park users have told us of their interest to have the skate park upgraded and we’ve listened.

We’re undertaking an extension to create a street skate run which will include a ramp, pop-up jump, steps, launching pads and installation of street skate units aimed at junior and beginner users.

The existing skate park elements will be retained.

We apologise for the inconvenience while the skate park is closed for June but look forward to unveiling the revamped facility to the community once complete.
