Help create a more thriving and diverse municipality by having your say on green space in the City of Casey.
Green spaces are public open spaces including parks, sports ovals, gardens, bush reserves and other vegetated areas.
Council, in partnership with Monash University, are investigating what the community thinks about green space and trees in Casey. Your feedback will help us determine how we can create more, and make the most of, the green space in Casey!
Via a survey on Casey Conversations, Council’s dedicated online consultation space, residents are invited to have their say on how green space in Casey could be maximised and put to better use.
As part of the project, Council and Monash University will:
• measure current access to, and satisfaction of, existing green spaces
• investigate the need for more green spaces and trees
• determine how to design further green spaces for the benefit of the community, and
• explore attitudes towards the local environment
If you have a passion for the outdoors, then this is the survey for you!
The City of Casey is committed to ensuring that our municipality reflects the desires of residents, and those who enter will go in the draw to win a FREE compost bin.
