Free graffiti removal in Casey

The City of Casey provides a free graffiti removal service and aims to remove graffiti within one business day from private property, local businesses, sporting facilities, parks and playgrounds, Council facilities and buildings and Council signs. Any offensive graffiti reported is prioritised for removal.

We have delivered the graffiti removal program since 2002, removing thousands of square meters across Casey. On average the City of Casey removes 35,000 square meters per year of graffiti within our community and to put this into perspective this is equivalent of painting the MCG (from fence to fence) 1.75 times every year. The program has succeeded and allows residents to report graffiti for removal in the areas where they live, work and play. We thank the Casey community for the reports and encourage continued reports to allow us to make Casey clean and safe.

Graffiti is writing, drawing, marking, scratching or otherwise defacing property without consent. The materials commonly used for graffiti are spray cans, felt-tipped pens and sharp instruments.
