Join Myuna Farm in celebrating National Pollinator Week!

Pollinators are essential for seeds, fruits, and vegetable production as well a forest regeneration! Learn about the amazing work of the pollinator animals and discover all the shapes and sizes that they come in, from little tiny bugs to large fruit bats!

 Content:

• Learn about what pollinators are and why they are so importance for ecosystem functioning and food production.
• Help create habitat for pollinators by planting up a seedling to take home.
• Have a close-up look at some of our smallest pollinators.
• Dance like a bee and learn the waggle dance!
• Colouring in table and take-home colouring sheets.
• Catch the train to the Myuna Farm wetlands to see the bats, optional to stay until sunset to see them fly out for the evening (this will occur at approximately 8.15 pm).

Cost: $2 donation per person to be paid on the day, cash only.

Children of all ages, accompanied by an adult, are welcome.

Dress requirements: Dress like a pollinator (optional)! Be a bee, butterfly, bat, possum, lorikeet, or honeyeater! Closed shoes are advised. Mosquito repellent may be needed for the wetland walk.
