Luis Mata an ecologist from the Centre for Urban Research will teach us about iNaturalist, an international web-based citizen science platform for flora and fauna observations. Australian records from this platform are automatically fed into the Australian Biodiversity Atlas, which is the federal government's flora and fauna database. Observations are also available to land managers and scientists from all over the world.
Luis will take us through what iNaturalist is and how we can use it to record our flora and fauna observations, how to access information on this database, then how the information we input is likely to be used.
Register for this event and a link to the webinar will be emailed to you on the 27 of May.
