My passion for painting started early in life and received the best back-up from a very talented teacher in a year 10 class in 1955 in Sri Lanka. Painting in water colours I obtained a distinction for Art. Since then, I have started on oils on canvas and other media as a hobby and mostly painting for my children, grandchildren, great grandchild and friends. I am proud to add some paintings of my eldest son Asanga's as he carries on my legacy.
