On day 1 of Children's Week children are encouraged to get creative!
While we have provided suggested ages on each of the activities - everyone, including parents or guardians are welcome to get in on the fun.
- All ages: Get creative with these activities from Bunjil Place: Zine Workshop, Draw a Fuzzy Friend or Drawing with Kenny Pittok.
- Ages 0-4: Spoonvillage
Create your very own Spoonvillage with our handy Spoonvill guide!
- Ages 5-8: Cloudy Creations
When you look at the clouds, what can you see – a dragon, a unicorn, a boat sailing on the sea? Unleash your imagination and draw an amazing creation!
Look up at the sky, use this as inspiration to draw/paint your own representation of the clouds.
Take a photo of the clouds above you and send the image to a friend and ask them to use their imagination to draw their own creative representation, and then compare. Use your tablet/device to draw an imaginative creation over the top of your cloud photo. Share your creation by posting it on our Facebook page.
- Ages 9-12: Creative Connections
Spending time with our friends and family has been very different this year. How have you been staying connected?
Tell us how you have been staying connected through the medium of art. You might like to do a drawing, painting or sculpture, a short film, design a dance choreography write a song or poem. Maybe you can team up with a friend and make a puppet play on zoom? Or send each other a drawing in the post? Anything goes! When you have finished share it on our Facebook page.
