Debt Management Policy This policy outlines the approach taken by Council in the management of non-statutory debts that are owed to the City of Casey.
Investment Policy
Partnership Policy - Sponsorship Policy (Incoming) All Council services, events, facilities such as community centres, sports centres, parks, gardens and sports pitches are mainly paid for by the community through the rates system.
Procurement Policy City of Casey (Council) procures goods, services and works each year to deliver services to the community and develop and maintain infrastructure. This Policy sets out the key principles and processes that apply to all procurements of goods, services and works made by Council, and is issued under the Local Government Act 2020 (the Act). Published procurement processes set out the processes Council Staff must follow in order to comply with this Policy.
This Policy aims to achieve value for money, promote fair and open competition and advance socioeconomic outcomes across Council procurement activities.
Rate Payment and Financial Hardship Policy In accordance with the Local Government Act 1989, Council levies Rates and Charges on rateable land to provide for services to the community. The City of Casey recognises there are cases for genuine financial hardship requiring respect and compassion in particular circumstances.

Revenue and Rating Strategy The purpose of the Revenue and Rating Strategy is to determine the most appropriate and affordable revenue and rating approach for the City of Casey which, in conjunction with other income sources, will adequately finance the objectives proposed in the Council Plan.
