The Home Care service helps eligible clients to maintain independence while living at home by assisting with essential and basic general household tasks.
Personal Care services are provided to assist older people and people with disabilities with the personal care tasks you would usually do for yourselves, but because of illness, disability or frailty, are unable to manage on your own.
Respite Care can be provided in your home or in the community. It can also include assistance with Personal Care or assistance with attending a program or community-based activity, such as exercise or social outings.
The Aboriginal Access and Support program has been established to provide support to Aboriginal residents to access available services.
Home Maintenance is a service that provides a range of practical 'handyman' type tasks that do not require the skills of a qualified tradesperson. It is not an emergency service.
The Volunteer Transport Program is a service that provides transport to residents of the City of Casey by volunteers. The program aims to assist residents to remain independent and stay actively involved in the community.
The Delivered Meals service provides a three course nutritional balanced meal for individuals at risk or who have decreased capacity to prepare their own meals.
The Social Support programs aim to reduce social isolation by providing you with an opportunity to try new activities, meet others, establish links in the community, and improve your overall sense of health and wellbeing.
The Coaching Support program assists you to work through personal issues in a friendly and supportive environment, as well as help you to develop skills and strategies to better manage issues and challenges in your life, and find greater well-being and fulfillment.
The Social Inclusion program provides targeted, individual support on a short-term basis for individuals that may need extra support to get out and meet others; to find social activities or interest groups in their local community; or to increase their confidence to volunteer or re-enter the workforce.
Volunteers play a very important role by providing assistance to programs which actively support the well-being of clients and promotes independance.
