Access and Inclusion Advisory Committee

The Access and Inclusion Advisory Committee is responsible for monitoring and reviewing aspects of access and inclusion, and providing strategic advice to Council. The Committee is made up of community members from all walks of life, ensuring a range of different perspectives are heard.

The Committee influences and advocates on issues relating to:

  • social and economic disadvantage
  • cultural and linguistic diversity
  • people living with a disability
  • ageing positively
  • sexual orientation
  • indigenous culture
  • social isolation
  • religious diversity

We currently have vacancies to be on the committee and are seeking nominations from interested individuals who live, work or study in the City of Casey.

Applications are encouraged from people with a passion for and understanding of diversity, access and inclusion; that share in Council's vision and want to contribute to making a difference. You will be representing your community and will be a voice for driving positive change. Expressions of Interest open Friday 17 May and close Sunday 16 June.
