Youth Support Program
The Youth Support Program (YSP) is a FREE, confidential support and counselling service for young people aged 12-25 who live in, or have a strong link with the City of Casey.
The Youth Support Program aims to be useful, flexible and easy to access for young people, and does not discriminate against race, gender, sexuality or religion.
The Youth Support Program has a policy that there is ‘no wrong door’ young people can go through when looking for help, so if the program can’t provide what a young person is looking for, we’ll do our best to help find who can.
The Youth Support Program offers short term counselling (up tp 5 sessions) and medium term practical support.
A secondary consultation is also available to teachers or family members who have concerns about a young person.
The Youth Support Worker can help you with issues such as:
- Family problems
- Stress
- Anger management
- Not fitting in at school
- Communication
- Loneliness
- Difficulty making friends
- Isolation
Contact our Youth Support Team on 5996 7315. YSP is a free and confidential service.
