Casey Youth Ambassadors encourages young people 15-25 years, who live, work, study or have a strong connection to Casey to be involved in their local community and global friendships.
Casey Youth Ambassadors aims to encourage young people to learn about their local community and world culture, enhance their leadership and personal skills and develop friendship networks around Australia.
Casey Youth Ambassadors members are involved in a number of civic events and activities such as the Citizenship Ceremonies, People in the Park events, Riding of the Bounds, Winter Arts Final, National Youth Week, Community Volunteer Award Ceremonies and Young Leaders Program.
Casey Youth Ambassadors are also involved in various exciting projects which hold a special interest to them. For example in 2007 they are working with Environment Victoria and some other young people to develop a sustainable living program.
Group members organise culturally based excursions, fundraising activities, participate in focus groups and have been invited to be involved in selection panels.
Casey Youth Ambassadors members are given the opportunity to attend conferences which provide an opportunity for the young people to further develop their leadership skills and knowledge and establish new friendship networks.

How do I get involved?
To join Casey Youth Ambassadors and become involved in your community and local council, download the registration form at the bottom on this page and return it to Council's Multicultural Youth Programs Officer.
When does Casey Youth Ambassadors meet?
Casey Youth Ambassadors meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month from 6.00 - 7.30pm. There is no cost to join, but there may be a cost for some activities and outings.
