The City of Casey regularly calls for public tenders and enters into contracts for a wide range of goods, works and services required to effectively serve the diverse needs of its community.
Council is committed to conducting its tender processes in a fair, open and transparent manner, while demonstrating the highest levels of integrity and probity throughout the process.
Council calls public tenders for all contracts for goods, works and/or services valued at $150,000 or more (GST Inc).
From time to time, public tenders may be called for requirements below $150,000(GST Inc).
The City of Casey conducts its public tenders via an online electronic tendering system. In order to download tenders from the e-tendering system you must first be a registered supplier. There is no cost to register as a supplier, and access to the registration page can be obtained by clicking the following link:
Once your supplier account has been created you can then register your interest in a tender and download tender files. The system also allows uploading of tender responses into an electronic tender box, however, the physical tender box is also available and located at the Civic Centre, Magid Drive, Narre Warren. It is anticipated that use of the physical tender box will be removed in March 2013 at which point only electronic submissions will be accepted.
Suppliers will be automatically notified of any addendums to tenders that they have registered for. They will also have the opportunity to seek clarification or responses to questions relating to the tender via an online forum.
