In March each year the City of Casey hosts a reception to acknowledge the newly appointed "School Captains and Leaders" of all schools within the City of Casey.
The event is held in Council Chambers or other suitable large Council owned venues and includes catering and a guest inspirational/motivational speaker. Up to four student leaders and two staff are to be invited from each school in the City of Casey.
The Student Leaders function provides an opportunity for primary and secondary school leaders to network together, listen to a motivational guest speaker and participate in a Casey wide forum.
2009 Casey Student Leader's Forum
The 2009 Casey Student Leader's Forum will be held on Thursday 19 March 2009 between 4-6pm in Council Chambers, Magid Drive, Narre Warren.
Primary School Captains will arrive at 4.00pm and participate in a leadership workshop facilitated by Casey Youth Services. Secondary School Captains will arrive at 4.45pm with some networking time for the Primary and Secondary School Captains to get to know each other over afternoon tea. A motivational guest speaker will then talk to the Primary and Secondary School Captains.
