EmailThe City of Casey seeks to work co-operatively with community groups and organisations to develop and deliver a range of local events to residents. The City of Casey acts as an advocate and supports community groups in their endeavours to showcase their cultural and creative expression.
Support is offered to community event organisers in a number of ways, outlined below.

As part of the City of Casey's commitment to supporting a broad range of community events, the Community Event Sign can be utilised by community and not-for-profit groups conducting events in the municipality.
When planning to organise an event it is very important that you contact Council's Events Unit to ensure all Council regulations are met. The Event Approval Guide identifies the role Council has in event compliancy and outlines how you should approach Council when planning to run an event.

Guide to Successful Events in Casey
This guide was developed to assist community event organisers in planning their events and ensuring the event is safe, problem free and successful. It identifies appropriate laws and policies and provides event organisers with the name of the relevant Council officer, government or peak body that they may have to contact in order to become compliant.
