Men's activities and men's shed programs in Casey
A number of men’s activity groups and men’s shed type programs occur throughout the municipality. These activities encourage men to meet in a positive and supportive environment and provide opportunities to support men’s health, well-being and social interaction. Workshops and Men’s Shed programs provide opportunities for “hand on” practical activities where men can work on projects, with other men, in an informal and relaxed environment.

Akoonah Park Men’s Shed
Akoonah Park Men’s shed is located at Akoonah Park, Berwick (Enter gate 4 in Cardinia Street). The group currently meets on a Thursday from 10am – 2pm. It is a meeting place for men, to discuss personal issues, make and mend, socialise and enjoy each other’s company. Berwick Woodworkers Club Inc
Located at the Old Cheese Factory in Berwick, this club brings together people with an interest in woodwork and also supports local charities through the production of children’s toys.
Blind Bight Community Centre Workshop
The workshop facility is available to complement the centres welding courses, and to finish off projects in a workshop environment.
Cranbourne-Casey Men’s Shed
This group is affiliated with the Carrum Downs Men's Shed and is currently seeking a suitable site to establish a Men’s Shed in the Cranbourne area. For further details contact ccmensshed@gmail.com.
Cranbourne Community Workshop
This Men’s Shed workshop is located at the Cranbourne Community House. It is open to new members and encourages older males to use the space to meet, socialise, have a tinker and perhaps mentor young people in the community.
Dads Programs
The City of Casey has developed a series of interactive, inclusive and exciting Dads Matter events and programs for men to join in with their children aged 0 to 6 years.
Hampton Park Men’s Group
At the Hampton Park Men’s Group, men of all ages can join in, network and meet other men who share similar interests. Some of the things that happen in the group are bowling, darts, cards and much more.
Junction Village Men’s Shed
This Men’s Shed was opened in September 2011 and is located at the Botanic Gardens Independent Living Village in Junction Village and is auspiced by the Dandenong Cranbourne RSL. This Men’s Shed program provides opportunities for residents of the retirement village, and the wider general community.

OM:NI Men’s Discussion Groups
OM:NI or Older Men: New Ideas Discussion Groups aim to enhance the health, wellbeing and lifestyle of older men. There are a number of groups operating within the City of Casey in Cranbourne, Berwick and Narre Warren. These groups are an initiative of COTA, a primary organisation representing the interests of older Victorians.
Salvation Army Doveton Community Support Services
A variety of support services and programs are offered for men including a recently funded Men’s Shed program, Men’s Breakfast Club and Mates Outdoor program.
