Finalists for the 2012 Casey Business Awards were announced at a pre-dinner cocktail function held at Monash University on Monday 25 June 2012.
The finalists were announced from more than 90 local businesses who were nominated for the awards and celebrated on night.
City of Casey Mayor Cr Sam Aziz ‘The Casey Business Awards are a great way to acknowledge and celebrate the many outstanding businesses operating in the City of Casey.
‘It is an opportunity to recognise excellence and support our thriving business community, which consists of some 19,500 businesses.
‘Now in its third year, these awards are a chance to bring attention to our local success stories and showcase the great work being done across our City.
‘Each year the number and quality of entrants just continues to improve making the judging process extremely difficult due to the standard of the entrants being exceptionally high.
‘In fact, the quality was so high, judges of both independent panels really had to look for the little things that gave our finalists that extra edge.
‘Every single entrant for these Awards ranks as one of the best in their particular field, so you are among close and excellent competition, right here in our municipality’.
