MEDIA RELEASE: 27 June 2012
The City of Casey is supporting two upcoming Community Information Sessions to assist residents in planning ahead for retirement.
Consumer Affairs Victoria is hosting the ‘Retirement Village Living’ sessions and providing professional, experienced educators.
City of Casey Mayor Cr Sam Aziz said ‘these sessions cover vital information to help older people make an informed decision about their living arrangements during retirement.
‘Before signing a contract, people need to know the likely costs, the right questions to ask and, ultimately, whether retirement village living is the lifestyle for them.
‘It is important to approach retirement positively and to have a plan’.
