Guide to Volunteering

Volunteering is a fantastic way that you can give something back to your community.  Volunteering involves providing your resources - time, service and / or skills - for others with the understanding that there will be no financial rewards.  This act is an asset to organisations that may have limited staff and resources, yet play a significant role in the community.

Volunteering work is very important in the Casey community. Hundreds of local volunteers regularly give their time and energy to assist others in the community.

The City of Casey has developed 'A Guide to Volunteering' to assist residents who have an interest in becoming a volunteer.  The guide outlines a number of considerations for potential volunteers, including the benefits of participating in such a role, different volunteering roles and referring the reader to services where they are able to register their interest in volunteering.

For more details or to request a copy of the guide, please contact the Community Development Officer.
