Fresh Words - Free Writing Competition for Young people
The Fresh Words competition was launched in 2008 for young writers who live, work or study in the City of Casey. It is an opportunity for writers to showcase their work, and potentially win great prizes.
In conjunction with Casey-Cardinia Library Corporation, creative writing workshops are held during the July school holidays to encourage potential Fresh Words entrants to develop their skills with the help of published authors.
